House Bill 1386

AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE LEGISLATURE TO PROVIDE ONE MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY FOR A RESEARCH CENTER FOR ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND OTHER DEMENTIA-RELATED DISEASES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Legislature shall appropriate One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) annually for the establishment and operation of a research center for research concerning Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related diseases.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1999.
